EVA FRAKTOPOULOU

BASI Pilates Certified Teacher

Eva studied Political Science and Theatre at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece. She continued her academic studies in the postgraduate program of the Department of Theatre Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which she also successfully completed.

Her background in theatre shaped her relationship with the body, both as a concept and as an essential means of expression and creativity.

Through this journey, she developed a deep appreciation for movement, functionality and care of the body, as well as for the connection between body and mind.

She discovered Pilates in 2020 and began practising consistently and with great passion. Through her own practice, she experienced the benefits of Pilates as a method that combines movement, strength and the exploration of the mind-body connection. After five years of consistent and uninterrupted practice, she decided to join the BASI Pilates Teacher Training Program in Greece, which she successfully completed.

Eva is inspired by the uniqueness of bodies, the interaction between body and mind, the development of body awareness through movement, and the value of conscious, quality movement in everyday life. Her goal is to help each student develop a deeper and more meaningful relationship with their body, discovering greater balance, well-being and self-awareness through movement.

She teaches Private and Group BASI Pilates sessions.
